The Authentic Leadership Engine ("ALE", "we", "us") is operated by ALE Learning LLC. This policy explains what the app stores, who can see it, and how to ask for your data to be deleted.
When you create an account we store your name, your email address and, if you give it, your company name. Sign-in is handled by our database provider, Supabase; the app never stores your password itself.
If you save team members so you can invite them, we store their names and email addresses on your account.
When a leader or a company asks you for feedback, we store your email address so we can send you a personal survey link and reminders while the survey is open. Your answers are stored separately from your email address and are never shown with it.
We record that your invitation has been used, so each invitation can only be answered once. Leaders see how many people have responded, never who has or hasn't.
If you add the optional written note, the leader sees it in your words, alongside the other notes, only once the minimum below is met, and in an order that doesn't show who wrote it or when.
When a company runs leadership reviews through ALE, its administrators upload a roster. For each person we store their name, work email, job title, an employee reference if the company provides one, their leader level, and who reports to whom. The roster is used to decide who is invited to give feedback on each leader. When someone leaves, they are marked as having left rather than removed.
Answers are only ever shown combined with others, and only once at least 3 people have responded. While an assessment is still open, its results update in groups of 3, so a single new answer can't be picked out. The app never shows an individual person's answers to anyone.
When a leader invites their own team, the results are shown to that leader.
When a company runs the review, the results are shown to the leader, to the company's administrators and, if a private equity firm owns the company, to that firm's administrators. Company and firm administrators see scores; AI insights, learning paths and written notes are shown only to the leader.
ALE's founder can access accounts and results to run and support the service.
A leader can create a link that shares their combined results. The link stops working after 7 days, and the leader can turn it off sooner.
To write insights and learning paths, we send combined results (scores for each behavior and how often each descriptive word was chosen) to third-party AI model providers, currently Anthropic's Claude models reached through the OpenRouter service. We don't send names, email addresses or written notes.
AI-generated content is for personal and professional development only. It isn't professional coaching, psychological, legal or HR advice.
We send email through Resend: survey invitations and reminders, account and administrator invitations, contact-form confirmations, and Pulse results you ask us to send.
Contact forms: your name, email and message and, depending on the form, the service you're asking about, your company or firm, its size, and your phone number if you give it.
Pulse quizzes: your answers and scores, and your email address and any comment if you give them.
Event registration: your name, email and your answers to the registration questions.
Demo survey: when a demo is started, continued and finished, with the page you came from and your browser type.
We use cookies to keep you signed in. The app doesn't include advertising or third-party analytics tools.
We use Supabase for our database and sign-in, Vercel to host the app, Resend to send email, and OpenRouter to reach AI model providers.
We don't currently delete data on a schedule. Accounts, survey results and rosters are kept until deletion is requested. Records of administrative actions are kept.
If you have your own leader account that isn't linked to a company: to delete your account and your data, email monika@leadwithmonika.com from the address you sign in with.
If your account is linked to a company (you're on its roster or part of a review it runs): your account is managed by that company. To make changes, contact your HR team.
If you gave feedback: your answers aren't stored with your email address, so we can't find a single person's answers. Questions about an invitation you received can go to monika@leadwithmonika.com.
