The Authentic Leadership Engine ("ALE", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of leaders, employees, and organizations who use our platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that data. By using ALE, you agree to the practices described here.
For leaders: name, work email, company or organization name, and password (encrypted). For employees completing assessments: survey responses only. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any identifying information from survey respondents. For all users: standard usage data including pages visited and actions taken, collected via analytics tools.
Leader account data is used to operate your account, deliver assessment results, and communicate with you about your account. Survey response data is used solely to generate aggregated scores and AI-generated insights for the leader being assessed. We do not sell, share, or disclose personal data to third parties except as required by law or to operate core platform services (hosting, email delivery, AI processing).
Employee survey responses are permanently anonymous. Individual responses are never stored with identifying information. Leaders see only aggregated scores — never individual response data. Minimum respondent thresholds are enforced before any results are surfaced to protect respondent anonymity.
Insights and recommendations are generated using third-party AI services. Survey response data passed to AI systems is anonymized and not used to train AI models. AI-generated content is for personal and professional development purposes only and does not constitute professional coaching, psychological, legal, or HR advice.
Leader account data is retained for the duration of your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Survey response data is retained to support longitudinal tracking features and is deleted upon account deletion.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact monika@leadwithmonika.com. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
